Daniel is an Associate Lawyer at Monkhouse Law. He completed his J.D. at Queen’s University graduating in 2018. Prior to law school, Daniel graduated with an Honours Degree in Law and International Relations from Carleton University, in 2013.
While at Queen’s, Daniel was an active member of the school community, where he spent his time honing his advocacy skills as a member of the 2018 Sopinka Cup Moot team, volunteering as a case worker with Queen’s Legal Aid Clinic, and worked as a teaching assistant with the Faculty of Law.
Prior to joining Monkhouse Law, Daniel articled with a top regional full-service law firm in Ottawa and practiced with a boutique labour and employment litigation firm in downtown Toronto.
Daniel has experience representing both employees and employers at all levels of court and provincial administrative tribunals, including the Ontario Court of Appeal, Superior Court, Small Claims Court, the Human Rights Tribunal, and the Ontario Labour Relations Board.
Daniel prides himself on providing collaborative and cost-effective legal services. He seeks to ensure that his clients understand their situation and helps them to make an informed decision concerning their rights and entitlements.
Outside the office, Daniel is an avid Toronto sports fan, connoisseur of nerd culture, amateur guitarist, and enjoys staying active by rock-climbing and chasing his cat around his home office.
