Sahel Mostafavihatam is a Paralegal Associate at Monkhouse Law and is licensed by the Law Society of Ontario. She completed her field placement working in Tax Litigation with the Department of Justice from 2020 to 2021.
Sahel graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Paralegal Studies from the Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. Her capstone project on Anti-Indigenous Racism in Canada’s Criminal Justice System has been published in the 2021 Humber Journal of Paralegal Access to Justice.
In her spare time, Sahel loves painting, reading and baking. At the beginning of the pandemic, she began baking cookies to sell in order to raise money for various charitable organizations. She baked over 600 cookies and raised almost $1000 in her first month.
