Emily is an associate at Monkhouse Law.
Emily holds an Honours B.A. with a joint major of Legal Studies and Sociology with Criminology Specialization from the University of Waterloo, followed by her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa.
Additionally, Emily broadened her horizons through international exchange programs at the University of Exeter in England and City University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong, where she gained invaluable insights into diverse legal systems and cultures.
During law school, Emily distinguished herself as a legislative intern at the Senate of Canada, student section executive at the Ontario Bar Association, and a student executive member at Pro Bono Students Canada.
Emily is a compassionate lawyer and zealous advocate who is committed to her client’s causes.
Outside the office, she indulges her passion for exploration, having traveled to 22 countries and counting. Emily finds joy in creative pursuits such as songwriting, drawing, painting, and photography, and she is an avid musical theatre fan.
