Fatima is an associate at Monkhouse Law and a licensed barrister and solicitor with the Law Society of Ontario. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Western University, which included an exchange semester at Radboud University in Nijmegen, Netherlands. Prior to attending law school, Fatima completed her undergraduate studies in Honours Political Science at McMaster University. She brings well-rounded legal experience to her practice, having completed her articles at a full-service firm specializing in family and estate litigation, and having summered at a plaintiff-side employment law boutique.
Alongside her academic career, Fatima gained valuable experience working for both the federal and municipal levels of government, where she interacted with a diverse range of clients and community stakeholders. She was also actively involved with the Community Legal Services (CLS) clinic at Western University.
Fatima is fluent in Urdu and Hindi.
Outside of her practice, she enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
