Meet Our New Employment Lawyers
Amara Malena Maraj has joined the firm as an employment lawyer. She earned her LL.B. from the University of Edinburgh, specializing in Human Rights and Employment Law, and also worked with the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada, advancing athletes’ rights.
Farhin Mim has joined the firm as an employment lawyer. She earned her J.D. at the University of Windsor and has appeared before the Social Benefits Tribunal, Ontario Court of Justice, and Superior Court of Justice. She has also received multiple awards for ethics, leadership, and academic excellence.
Farida Madhosh has joined the firm as an employment lawyer. She earned her J.D. from the University of Windsor and previously served as Tenant Duty Counsel at the Advocacy Centre for Tenants Ontario. She is fluent in Farsi.
Pratibha Siva has joined the firm as an employment lawyer. She received her J.D. from the University of Windsor and participated in national mooting competitions, placing second at the 2023 Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Moot. She has represented clients in court, negotiated settlements, and prepared persuasive pleadings and submissions.
Sadaf Shahzad has joined the firm as an employment lawyer. She holds an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School and previously practiced at a top-ranked firm in Pakistan, as well as in insurance defence in Toronto. She is dedicated to advocating for employees’ workplace rights.
Samuel Tyler has joined the firm as an employment lawyer. He earned his J.D. from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law and has experience in employment law, labour law, class actions, and Charter litigation. He is passionate about advancing workers’ rights.
Victoria Trasente has joined the firm as an employment lawyer. She received her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School after completing an Honours Specialization in Criminology at Western University, where she was active in cultural and community initiatives.
